The printer worked absolutely fine (photocopy, scanning, printing) though only Black and white for moderate home use, till 1st July’2020!!! Color cart – original, empty from a long time. The printer has Black cart – compatible, DIY refilled. Thereafter, I never refilled the original cartridge, and left the empty cartridge in the printer. In total, 3 compatible cart has been bought over 7 years.Ģ) The color cartridge was refilled once after the original exhausted. This also worked for many years and is fine even now. Thereafter, I bought a compatible low cost cartridge from local market and used it again multiple times by DIY refilling.
I have an inkjet 3in1 Canon Pixma MP287 (bought in 2013).ġ) After the original Black cartridge exhausted, I refilled it with the DIY kit for about 7-8 times more, till it died and stopped giving out ink. If you’re still having trouble, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and we’ll be more than happy to look at this in more depth for you. This should have resolved your Canon Pixma Error Message problem!
Recently we’ve had a couple of our customers ask us about such an error message with their Canon Pixma inkjet printers, specifically the E04, E05, E14 and E15 error messages.Įssentially, these Canon Pixma error messages appear when your Pixma printer is having problems recognising one or more of the cartridges inside it. This method of removing the cleaning fluids has the advantage that You do not have the use the printer´s nozzle cleaning function that will pollute the waste ink pad inside the printer unnecessarily. There’s nothing quite like an unsolicited Canon Pixma error message when it comes to printers to make you want to either scratch your head in confusion or launch one of your limbs at a nearby wall. Keep on printing until colors appear clearly on the print out again. You also print on already used paper as the print job is just aiming on clearing the print head from the nozzle cleaner and not on producing a nice print out. It does not really matter what you are printing as long as all cartridges are involved.
To do so please install regular inkjet cartridges filled with regular inkjet ink into the printer again and start printing a couple of print jobs. The safest way for Your printer to get that cleaner out is to print it out.
How to remove the remaining nozzle cleaner out of the print head?Īfter flushing the Epson print head according to our instruction there will remain a certain amount of nozzle cleaner fluid within the print head, within the printer´s ink system.
Right before pulling out the kitchen towel move the print head from side to side, this swipes the nozzle plate clean once more.Īt the end put the PGI and CLI cartridges back into the printer and plug in the power cable. When You have finished the cleaning, take out the kitchen towel.
The cleaner plus the dissolved cloggings come out of the nozzle plate on the print head´s bottom side and are absorbed by the paper towel. Please do not push air into the print head. Now You can push the nozzle cleaner in carefully to flush the print head and rinse out blockages. As the cleaning effect progresses You can see that the level of print head cleaner inside the plastic tube will go down. This pumping brings nozzle cleaner inside the print head and dissolves cloggings on the way to and in the nozzles itself. Now pump the syringe´s plunger in and out carefully.
